For business expansion, our client at Tuas manufacturing plant is hiring 20-30 production operators/ production technicians/ machine operators.
Production Technician (Permanent Night Shift)
Work Location: Tuas Avenue 2
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate on machine/process units as assigned.
- Perform trouble-shooting for machine / equipment failures to meet production targets and quality standards and/or specifications.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance (Cleaning, Service, Replace)
- While operating on machine to perform tasks, always check and record the machine or process parameters and take containment and corrective actions if necessary to ensure that machine or process is under control.
- Sampling inspection of parts as per Quality plan to ensure that the products are within specifications. If out of specification, handle the disposition of non-conforming products as and when required by the Quality plan.
- Support Team Leader to execute changes and projects within production area and ensuring compliance to EHS requirements, quality, cost and schedule.
- Perform product/machine changeover on the line by clearing the previous lot parts, change of materials, tool/die change and minor machine set-up and keying in the necessary information into the machine MES satellite.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Secondary School/ O Level/ NITEC/ Diploma in any field.
- Able to work in a manufacturing cleanroom or non-cleanroom environment.
- Able to perform permanent night shift 7pm - 7.15am.
- Able to stand for long hours.
- Able to perform loading and unloading of 10-20kg materials.
