Production Technician | Oil & Gas

Adecco is partnering with a world leader in industrial gases, technologies and services for industry.

Working Location: 2 Tampines Industrial Ave 1
Working Schedule: 12-hour rotating shift schedule 8:30am to 8:30pm and 8:30pm to 8:30am

Shift Pattern: 2-2-3:
2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on
The following week flips to 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
Repeats every 2 weeks
Work every alternate weekend

Responsibilities:

1. Shift team to perform operations monitoring such as plant logging and routine checks on nitrogen generator and auxiliary equipment to ensure operational excellence.

2. Identify and support in rectification on any plant or system anomalies to ensure zero reliability incident through data analysis and troubleshooting.

3. Ensure uninterrupted supply and products supplied are within customer contractual specification.

4. Ensure bulk gases inventory management in performing ordering & receiving protocol.

5. Ensure timely performance of operational equipments preventive maintenance e.g. analyzer calibration to ensure quality measurement and records, and back-up equipment test run etc. in accordance to SOPs.

6. Perform planned shutdown maintenance planning, execution of planned shutdown for maintenance, troubleshoot and start-up of Nitrogen generator plant.

7. Attend to unplanned shutdown situation within and out of working hours.

8. Support project management in new Nitrogen generator plant and bulk gases installation, commissioning and operations.

9. Shift team to perform operations monitoring such as product logging & routine checks on all BSGS systems.

10. Shift team to perform change out of BSGS pallets / drums in accordance with standard operations procedure.

11. Ensure BSGS stock inventory management in performing ordering & receiving as per customer's protocol.

12. Identify and troubleshoot for any BSGS anomalies while escalating to customer to engage service provider for rectification work in order to ensure smooth operations.

13. Compliance with company HSE's 12 Life Saving Rule.

14. Compliance with company Quality protocol.

15. Follow proper procedures for handling spills/ gas leak/ emergencies and segregation of incompatible materials.

16. Identify any hazards & unsafe acts within the gasyard and adopt a safe working attitude.

17. Serve as Emergency Response Team Member

18. Ensure compliance to local legislation & IMS requirement through thorough gap analysis taskforce and execution for actionable items.

19. Ensure project installation compliance with all the above mentioned regulations and protocol for smooth and reliable operations.

20. To attend all planned training and achieve the required level of competency for plant & BSGS operations

Requirements:

. Min. NITEC in Chemical / Process Engineering background
. Ability to read PFD and P&ID
. Comfortable working 12 hours shifts, 2 to 5 days/ week.

.Please note that this is a 1 year contract role, renewable/ extendable.
