Job Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machines according to instructions and procedures.
- Operate workshop machines such as milling, turning, and grinding for spring coiling tools.
- Ensure parts meet specifications using proper measuring tools and perform in-process quality checks.
- Label parts correctly and take immediate action on non-conforming items work with QA on rejections.
- Prevent non-conforming parts from moving to other departments and guide Operators to avoid repeated issues.
- Troubleshoot machines and carry out routine maintenance.
- Draw and load raw materials and ensure production targets are met.
- Maintain machines, tools, and workplace housekeeping.
- Train and guide new Technicians and Operators.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Superior.
