About the Role
We are supporting the global rollout of a new, enterprise‑scale sales reporting platform that will become the primary source of truth for sales performance worldwide. This platform replaces multiple legacy systems and supports thousands of internal and external users across regions, functions, and sales channels.
As a Production Support Specialist, you will play a critical role during launch and early‑life operations, ensuring users can trust, understand, and act on their data. You'll provide front‑line data and reporting support in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility environment, working closely with engineering and product teams to stabilize the platform and drive adoption.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide Tier 1 / Tier 2 support for a global, business‑critical sales reporting platform
- Respond to user inquiries via Slack and email, including access issues, data inaccuracies, and general reporting questions
- Investigate and troubleshoot data and reporting issues, validating metrics and reconciling discrepancies
- Distinguish between training or adoption gaps and true platform defects
- Escalate confirmed bugs or data pipeline issues to engineering with clear documentation and business impact
- Support go‑live and post‑launch stabilization, managing high volumes of requests during rollout
- Work as part of a follow‑the‑sun global support model, ensuring smooth regional handoffs and consistent service quality
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in reporting, BI support
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and KPIs (B2C and/or B2B)
- Hands‑on experience with BI and reporting tools such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Business Objects, Power BI, or similar
- Ability to investigate data issues and explain findings clearly to business users
- Experience supporting users in a production or go‑live environment
- Comfortable working with Slack‑ or chat‑based support workflows
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical issues into plain business language
Nice to Have
- Exposure to channel or field sales data
- Experience supporting global users across multiple time zones
- Familiarity with data pipelines, refresh cycles, or reporting logic
- Prior experience with platform launches or system migrations
