Oversee daily operations of the CNC machineassembly process.
Ensure assembly processes are carried outaccording to defined quality standards, engineering specifications andproduction schedules.
Lead, train and supervise a team of assemblytechnicians to ensure efficient and safe operation.
Identify and address issues in the assemblyprocess, including mechanical failures, assembly errors, and delays.
Monitor employee performance, provideconstructive feedback and manage any personnel issues in a timely and effectivemanner.
Implement and enforce quality control processesto detect and correct any defects or assembly errors.
Ensure the correct handling and storage ofcomponents and assembled machines to prevent damage or degradation.
Enforce strict adherence to safety standards andensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Maintain accurate records of productionactivities, including employee attendance, machine downtime, material usage andcompleted work.
Work with the Production Manager to address anydelays or production-related concerns and adjust schedules as needed.
Attend daily production meetings, provideupdates on machine issues, and ensure all relevant information is recorded andupdated in the Gantt chart.
Review daily checklists and manufacturingrecords submitted by technicians, verifying accuracy against MOS specificationsand machine tolerances.
Initiate purchase requisitions for sectionconsumables, tools, and calibration equipment as required.
Organize and oversee On-the-Job Training (OJT)for new technicians, as well as cross-training initiatives to enhance teamcompetency, ensuring training records are properly maintained.
Monitor weekly quality findings, conductinvestigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions to addressissues.
Maintain and continuously improve 5S andhousekeeping standards in the production area, ensuring a safe and organizedwork environment.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Engineering field is preferred
Relevant experience in CNC assembly processes or quality control are advantageous
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supervisory role in a manufacturing or assembly environment
Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
Hands-on experience with CNC machine assembly, troubleshooting and mechanical assembly techniques
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawing, blueprints and assembly instructions
Strong understanding of 5S and HSE knowledge
Able to work effectively in a fast and ever-changing stressful environment
Maintain good Quality standards, 5S and safety discipline
Able to use Microsoft office (Excel, Words, Powerpoint and Outlook)
