The Production Supervisor leads and organizes a team of operators and technicians to achieve daily manufacturing targets while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This role oversees production activities, manages cross-training programs to enhance workforce skills, and enforces discipline, housekeeping, and workplace safety. The supervisor ensures proper documentation through check sheets, identifies and mitigates risks on the production floor, and drives productivity improvement initiatives. By providing clear direction and support, the Production Supervisor contributes to operational efficiency, workforce development, and consistent delivery of high-quality products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, organize and lead a team of Production Operators/Technicians to achieve daily manufacturing targets within acceptable quality and safety level
Overall supervision of production activities
Plan and manage cross training program for Production Operators/Technicians in upgrading individual skills and job knowledge
Ensure subordinates carry out necessary check sheets and record sheets before, during and after activities (as required)
Enforce shop floor discipline control with good housekeeping and safety at the workplace
Ensure risks and gaps in production floor are identified and control measures in placed
Lead in productivity improvement projects
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Effective communication skills in building key relationships with your team and other departments

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Educational/Certification Requirement:
Diploma/Degree in any Engineering or its equivalent
Experience Requirement:
Minimum 3 years working experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment
Strong leadership skills with proven track record in leading a team of 50 Operators /Technicians
Able to commit to 8 hours shift (Day/Night)
Work Experience:
Preferably with at least 3 years supervising role in contract manufacturing
