Job Description

  • Supervise and direct the production team to achieve target outputs and maintain high quality standards
  • Manage and expedite the production flow to meet production target
  • Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading engineering drawings and process instructions.
  • Oversee all aspects of day-to-day production operations
  • Support the Plant Manager to plan and fully utilize of manpower and resources
  • Develop, maintain and update production documentation including MITE, OWI, RA.
  • Ensure that the production documentation complies with the ISO standards.
  • Lead and support production audits such as DNV audits and safety inspection with the supervisor.
  • Lead and identify possible process improvement.
  • Manage production workflows, WIPs and resources.
  • Work with maintenance and supervisor to ensure the preventive maintenance plan is executed to keep the machine upkeep.
  • Involved in production plant layout optimization and machine acquisition process.
  • Perform duties as per assigned by the production manager.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and site safety through hazard identification and prevention.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a production supervisor or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
  • Familiar with using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and drawings.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to work as a team.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment and quality control measures
  • Familiarity with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
