Production Supervisor

• Location: Gul (West side), no transport provided
• Prefer candidates who are familiar in Aerospace or Automotive related industries
• Salary: up to $6000

Duties and Responsibilities

. Actively participate and sustain high level of Lean Management.

. Plans and leads the activities in the production workshop.

. Risk Management, Incident Investigation & Preventive measures.

. Assists supervisor in monitoring and resolving matters related to production operations.

. Manages work order priorities and manpower schedules according to requirements and timelines.

. Ensures department Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost output goals met.

. Provides training, motivation, guidance and communication to team members to develop competent, disciplined, safe and quality conscious team.

. Co-ordinates with maintenance and upgrade of machine tools to meet organizational objectives.

. Co-ordinates with internal stakeholders to optimize manufacturing process and queue times.

. Initiate improvement plans and cost savings.

. Responsible for record-keeping and for team member performance appraisals and work goal meetings.

. Leads with limited autonomy after establishment of overall direction with immediate supervisor.

. Establishes employee objectives and carry out disciplinary action and reward as required.

. Assist in driving the team to meet on time delivery.

. Resolve routine queries and problems independently.

. Review employee timeclock hours.

Requirements

. Diploma or NITEC in related field.

. 5 years of Production Supervisor experience in MNC environment

. Leadership experience is compulsory

. Experience in Lean manufacturing and problem solving skills.

. Excellent communication and interpersonal skill

. Good knowledge in workplace safety procedures

. Five to seven years of experience in Production or Manufacturing environment

. Strong PC skill in Microsoft office applications.

. Experience in lead/supervisory role is preferred

. SAP experience in preferred
