Job Summary
You will lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, and efficiency targets while managing a team of technicians and operators. This role involves hands-on problem solving, driving continuous improvement, supporting new product introductions, and ensuring a strong safety culture.
Responsibilities
- Strategize, plan, and execute daily manufacturing activities to meet production goals
- Lead and motivate a team of technicians and production operators to achieve daily output, quality, productivity, and cost targets
- Drive continuous improvement programs to enhance operational excellence and efficiency
- Coordinate and support new product introduction activities to ensure smooth integration into manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with management, internal stakeholders, and contract manufacturers to communicate project status, progress, and resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies by identifying hazards and implementing prevention measures
- Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and production performance reports to support factory operations
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by superiors
Required competencies and certifications
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing management principles, quality systems, and safety requirements
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage people effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Experience in driving continuous improvement projects
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in writing Standard Operating Procedures and production performance reports
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic manufacturing environment
