Oversee daily production operations to ensure all products are manufactured in compliance with cGMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor production schedules in consultation with the Production Planner and Management, ensuring timely delivery and efficient resource utilisation.
Supervise and manage a team of Operators and Line Leaders, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and on-the-job guidance.
Conduct regular briefings to communicate production targets, operational updates, and management instructions.
Liaise with R&D and Quality Control (QC) on raw material shortages, specifications, and quality-related issues to ensure production continuity.
Monitor raw material characteristics (e.g. foreign particles, colour, texture, odour) and escalate any deviations to QC for corrective action.
Ensure proper functioning of machinery and production equipment through routine checks and coordination with relevant departments.
Work closely with the Batching Leader to ensure accurate formulation and smooth workflow across production stages.
Maintain accurate and timely production records in the Navision system, including output tracking and material usage.
Prepare and submit production and operational reports to Management for performance review and decision-making.
Support manpower planning and ensure adequate coverage across shifts, including operational continuity during peak periods.
Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
Minimum Diploma or higher qualification in Food Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing or process-driven production environments, with supervisory responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of cGMP, HACCP, and regulatory compliance requirements in food production.
Proven ability to supervise and lead a team, ensuring productivity, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
Experience in production planning, coordination, and cross-functional communication (e.g. with R&D, QC, and Warehouse).
Familiarity with production systems such as Navision or equivalent ERP systems is an added advantage.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and respond effectively to operational challenges.
Willing to work 12-hour shifts, including night shifts and weekends, to support continuous production operations.
