Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the production members during the assigned shift to maximize output and efficiency.
- Ensure the schedule is followed, including timely start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers
- Supervise the receiving, handling, and feeding of raw materials into the production process to prevent contamination or waste.
- Evaluate, manage, and report on daily raw material consumption to ensure accurate inventory control and reduce scrap rates
- Ensure all finished products adhere to quality specifications and standards.
- Ensure proper inspection and quarantine of materials that fail to meet specifications.
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (e.g., 5S activities)
- Ensure all employees utilize proper PPE and follow standard operating procedures(SOPs).
- Complete daily shift reports, documenting production totals, material usage, scrap, and downtime.
- Document and address personnel issues, such as absenteeism or discipline.
- To implement all Environmental, Health and Safety programme to meet corporate ISO 14001 standards.
- Work under the guidance of Assistant Manager / Managers to perform and complete the assigned duties in timely manner.
- Any other duties assigned by Production Manager.
Requirements:
- Higher Nitec or Diploma
- 2-5 years of manufacturing plant experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience handling raw materials in a manufacturing setting (e.g. chemical, metal).
- PC Literate, Able to work independently and under pressure
- Familiar with ISO Certifications (9001, IATF 19649,14001)
- Strong team management, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 15kg,
- WSQ Supervise Work In Confined Space, Forklift License
- Able to commit 12 hours shift both alternate week of morning and night shift.
