Production / Shift Engineer | Chemical / Process Plant

Job Description:

• Oversee daily production, process or plant operation activities.
• Monitor plant performance, production output, process parameters and equipment condition.
• Support troubleshooting of process, production or equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, quality and safety teams.
• Ensure production activities are carried out according to SOP, safety and quality requirements.
• Support plant start-up, shutdown, process improvement and operational efficiency projects.
• Guide operators / technicians during daily operation and troubleshooting activities.
• Assist in reviewing operating procedures, work instructions and production records.
• Support risk assessment, incident reporting and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, environmental and operational standards.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma / Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in production, process, plant operation, chemical manufacturing or industrial operation.
• Candidates from chemical, petrochemical, polymer, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing or process plant background are welcome.
• Knowledge of plant operation, production troubleshooting, SOP, safety procedures or process improvement will be an advantage.
• Able to work in plant / manufacturing environment.
• Able to perform shift duties if required.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Senior candidates with plant operation / production leadership experience may be considered for engineer-level roles.
