Your Role

As an SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant, you will contribute to project delivery by applying your functional expertise to support implementations and enhancements. You will work closely with team members and clients, demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and a strong focus on collaboration and quality outcomes.

As an SAP Production Planning (PP) Senior Consultant, you will lead solution delivery with a high degree of autonomy, driving client engagements and ensuring successful project outcomes. You will also mentor junior team members, contribute to internal initiatives, and play a key role in strengthening client relationships and delivery excellence.

Your Responsibilities

a. Lead and deliver SAP PP implementations and enhancements across the full project lifecycle, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

b. Engage with stakeholders to gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, and translate them into effective solution designs and technical specifications.

c. Configure and optimize SAP PP processes, including MRP, capacity planning, and production execution.

d. Provide expert-level troubleshooting and application support, ensuring system stability and performance throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

e. Drive integration with other SAP modules (MM, PP, QM) and ensure seamless data flow across SAP and non-SAP systems.

f. Maintain system governance by managing user access, documentation, and testing standards, ensuring adherence to best practices.

g. Facilitate workshops, conduct user training, gather requirements, facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and translate business needs into system solutions.

h. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver projects effectively while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

About you

Your Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

a. Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes, including demand planning, MRP, production planning, scheduling, execution, and shop floor control.

b. Strong stakeholder management skills, including leading workshops, conducting user training, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into system solutions.

c. Proven ability to convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications and collaborate effectively with technical teams on system integrations.

d. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

e. Analytical, proactive, and able to deliver in fast-paced project environments.

f. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition is highly recommended.

g. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

h. SAP certifications or other relevant professional qualifications are advantageous, though not mandatory.


Your Experience

a. For PP Consultants: Minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP PP functional implementation and/or support experience, with at least 3 full-cycle (end-to-end) implementations.

b. For Senior PP Consultants: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a consulting or vendor environment, with at least 5full-cycle implementations.

c. Strong functional knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP) and its integration with other SAP modules.

d. Hands-on experience in SAP PP configuration, implementation, and support.

e. Strong exposure to manufacturing environments (discrete, process, or repetitive manufacturing).

f. Experience in MRP, capacity planning, production orders, BOMs, routings, and shop floor execution.

g. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and regional/global template rollouts is highly advantageous.

h. Proven experience in SAP PP and its integration with key modules such as MM, SD, QM, and Product Costing.

i. Exposure to IBP, WM/EWM is a plus.

j. Hands-on experience with business role setup (authorizations) and data migration activities (e.g., data mapping, cleansing, validation, and load execution).

k. Willingness to travel regionally and globally for project implementations and rollouts.
