YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the Production Control Team. In this role, will develop production plans aligned with capacity and business needs, assess impacts of new technologies and changes, prioritize key products, monitor production performance, address risks, and coordinate cross-site activities. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.

The Key Responsibilities Include

As a planning engineer, you are involved in the following activities:

Create and commit a feasible plan that aligns with installed capacity.

  • Create scenarios in the quarterly sales and operations planning process to assess the impact of new technology, output changes, or mix changes.
  • Involve stakeholders in the capacity strategy to support new technology or capacity expansion.
  • Provide feedback and relevant information to central planning.
  • Execute tasks in the demand-driven materials requirement planning process.
  • Manage priorities and monitor the delivery forecast for high-priority products.
  • Monitor site production performance, escalate risks or issues, and coordinate a recovery plan in case of excursions.
  • Manage cross-site processing activities.
  • Participate in control tower and relevant meetings.

Your Skills & Experiences

  • Degree in engineering, supply chain or business administration
  • Strong communication skills; able to work with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail; strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain planning is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; proficiency in Excel is required.
  • Experience using SAP is an advantage.
