Production Planner (Manufacturing)

Responsibilities

• Plan daily and weekly production schedules based on orders and capacity
• Ensure materials are available for production on time
• Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and adjust plans to meet deadlines
• Coordinate with different departments to keep production running smoothly
• Update stakeholders on any delays or changes
• Use ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) to track planning and inventory
• Check that materials and equipment are ready before production starts
• Prioritize and expedite urgent work orders when needed
• Resolve production issues or delays
• Support inventory checks (cycle counts) to ensure stock accuracy
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Handle basic administrative and ad hoc tasks
• Support improvements and digitalisation efforts in planning

Requirements

• Diploma in Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
• Detail-oriented and organised
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication and teamwork skills
