About the Role

Join our team as a Production Planner Assistant and be at the heart of our manufacturing operations. You'll help keep production on track by managing raw material orders, monitoring tank levels, and ensuring accurate planning through SAP. From preparing reports to supporting month-end closing and planning meetings, your attention to detail will make a real impact on efficiency and success.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Production Planning Responsibilities

. Responsible for raw material ordering based on Bill of Materials (BOM) and non-BOM requirements. Monitor material availability to ensure timely and efficient production.

Administrative Support

. Generate and distribute weekly production reports Create production orders in SAP Assist with monthly stocktake activities Manage rework paperwork Prepare and deliver month-end reports as required by the production team.

Month-End Closing Support

. Assist the Production Planner during the month-end closing process in SAP, including data validation and reconciliation.

Tank Level Monitoring Support

. Support the production planner in monitoring and understanding tank levels to prevent shortages or overflows.

Production Planning Meeting Support

. Assist in the preparation of materials for the monthly production planning meetings, like meeting minutes, action items completion & ensure all relevant reports and production plan are updated and shared in advance of the meeting.

REQUIREMENTS

1) Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).

2) Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment or a production planning role

3) Strong understanding of the end-to-end production planning workflow, including: Sales forecasting, Production scheduling, Raw material planning, Material receiving, Manufacturing processes, Finished goods storage and logistics

4) Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including functions, charts, and basic data analysis.

5) Meticulous, with a strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

6) Prior experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.

7) A logical mindset and strong numerical skills will be advantageous for problem-solving and data analysis tasks.
