Production Operator

Key Duties andresponsibilities included but not limited to:

. Perform a repetitive and wide range of mechanical assemblyoperations in support of production projects perform assembly of complex discrete wire harnesses and multi-conductor jacketed cables, coax, twin-ax, and tri-ax cables, power, and flat cable assemblies.

. Assembles,modifies reworks, and/or reassembles production components, utilizing drawing, picking tickets, processing documentation, and/or verbal instructions.

. Prepares and utilizes basic hand tools and machinesincluding but not limited to power screwdriver, ruler, solder iron, clamp machine, heat gun, solder pot, crimpers, pinning machine, and automatic wire strippers.

. Clean parts prior to production use as required

. Identify wires with the usage of the basic color codesequence.

. Participate in first-time production runs of new products.

. Support cycle counting activity, inventory handling, andinventory transactions following established material procedures.

. Participates in continuous improvement and team-buildingactivities maintains productive working relationships with all team members

. Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of machines andtechniques in this industry and/or similar industries.

. Meet daily production output & quality requirements

Qualifications:

• Responsible for reading, interpreting, and understanding Work Instructions in the assembly of harnesses, cables, and other assigned tasks.
• Ability to crimp and solder materials.

Experience in intricate hand assembly on paced assembly line.
