Responsibilities
- Execute a variety of material movement tasks, including picking, receiving, storing, and loading/unloading. Safely operate assigned power equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and side-loaders to fulfill order requirements. Follow pick slips to physically gather materials for inspection and document necessary characteristics accurately. Create and print labels, attaching bundle tags to materials prior to shipment, ensuring clean surfaces before application. Load and unload trucks for product deliveries and collections, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Complete other relevant tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in material handling or a related area. Familiarity with operating power equipment (e.g., forklifts, cranes) is preferred. Strong attention to detail and safety procedures. Ability to follow instructions and established guidelines proficiently. Capacity to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
