Production Operator (Manufacturing / Chemical Plant)

Responsibilities:
- Receive, transfer, and store bulk raw materials safely

- Manage on-site waste handling and coordinate waste removal vendors

- Collect water samples and support lab testing and release

- Monitor utilities, equipment, and operating parameters maintain accurate records

- Operate forklifts and handle materials and equipment safely

- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards across work areas

- Prepare finished goods containers for shipment and labelling

- Support and escort external contractors within controlled site areas

- Comply with HSE policies, procedures, PPE, and hazardous chemical handling requirements

- Participate in emergency response (CERT), safety activities, and continuous improvement initiatives

- Complete mandatory training and support overtime or weekend work when required

Requirements:

• Practical, hands-on experience in manufacturing operations is required.
• Proficiency in computer use and typing familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues when needed.
• Experience in areas such as safety, occupational health, quality assurance, environmental management, logistics, and equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with standards and practices such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SS651, cGMP, and microbial control in manufacturing is advantageous.
• Safety-conscious and quality-oriented attitude.
• Diploma, GCE A/O/N levels, NITEC, or Higher NITEC.
• Forklift license is a plus.
• Knowledge or certification in HAZMAT, firefighting, and incident management is advantageous.
