Job Description

Cyient is a global provider for engineering, data analytics, networks and operation solutions. We collaborate with our clients to achieve more and shape a better tomorrow. We have an opportunity in our aerospace division to support our client with Production& Materials Planning solutions to strengthen the factory planning, inventory control, and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

(1) Daily production review& prioritization- Review production commitments, material shortages, and prioritize recovery actions based on delivery commitments

(2) Material mitigation &solutioning-Drive mitigation activities by coordinating with Purchasing (Supply Chain),Vendor Control (Supply Chain), Operations and Engineering to recover constrained materials

(3) Residual material identification & matching- Identify suitable residual parts from existing inventory or engine tear-downs and match them to future shortages to improve material availability

(4) Cross-functional stakeholder coordination- Engage Production Controller, Engineering and Operations to validate material disposition and recovery plans

(5) Material tracking &reporting-Maintain shortage trackers, recovery status, material risk registers, and provide daily updates on critical constraints

(6) Recovery action follow-up& escalation- Follow through on open mitigation actions, expedite critical material issues, and escalate risks impacting production

Material opportunity scouting

-Proactively identify opportunities for material re-deployment, inter-engine swaps or cannibalization candidates to prevent future shortages

Key Requirements:

(a) Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.

(b) Minimum two years of relevant working experience as process, production or operations Engineers from the aerospace or process manufacturing industry

(c) Practical exposure to budgeting, forecasting, cost control, production planning or management reporting would be highly advantageous.

(d) Candidates with finance, planning oranalytical experience gained within a MRO (Maintenance Repair Overhaul)environment are also welcome.

(e) Good understanding of manufacturing operations, production cost drivers and business performance indicators.

(f) Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving capabilities.

(g) Good report-writing and presentation skills.

(h) Meticulous and organized, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

(i) Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

(j) Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and corporate functions.

(k) Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience with SAP or other ERP systems would be advantageous.

Able to start work from Oct 2026 onwards. (Negotiable if available for later start date.)
