Production Manager (Singapore / Malaysia Manufacturing Plant)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee full manufacturing operations, team management, process optimisation and local compliance at our Singapore or Malaysia production site. This is a stable long‑term overseas management role specialised in PCB and semiconductor equipment manufacturing.

The successful candidate will complete 1-3 months fully paid training at our Shenzhen HQ to get familiar with our products and production systems before taking up the overseas post with clear career progression opportunities.

Monthly Basic Salary: SGD 5,400 - 10,800

Basic salary only. Additional overseas allowance, performance bonus and year‑end bonus are offered based on individual performance and company results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage end‑to‑end production planning, capacity allocation and delivery control for the Singapore/Malaysia plant. Oversee assembly, testing and production of PCB equipment and components to ensure on‑time, high‑quality delivery, and resolve production issues and bottlenecks efficiently.

2. Establish and optimise on‑site production management systems (SOP, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, quality control) in line with local statutory regulations and HQ standards, driving standardised and refined plant operations.

3. Lead plant cost control, efficiency improvement and quality enhancement initiatives. Implement cost‑reduction and optimisation plans to meet annual operational KPIs, and minimise material wastage and production defects.

4. Manage local production team recruitment, training and performance appraisal. Lead cross‑cultural team collaboration, build a stable overseas talent team, and implement full EHS management to ensure safe and compliant plant operation.

5. Coordinate closely with Shenzhen HQ to synchronise production data and operational updates. Collaborate with overseas business teams to support local order delivery and factory capacity expansion.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering or related fields. Willing to work overseas long‑term and adapt to Singapore/Malaysia working environment. Relevant industry experience can waive degree requirements.

2. Minimum 8 years equipment/smart manufacturing production management experience, including 5 years full‑plant management experience as a Production Manager. Candidates with PCB or semiconductor equipment manufacturing background are highly preferred.

3. Priority for candidates with overseas factory management experience, especially in semiconductor/PCB equipment industry or China‑invested plants in Southeast Asia (Singapore/Malaysia).

4. Proficient in manufacturing workflows, Lean production, TPM, shop floor and cost management. Familiar with local labour, safety and environmental compliance regulations in Singapore or Malaysia.

5. Functional English for daily workplace communication. Strong coordination, problem‑solving and leadership skills with high pressure tolerance and international management awareness.
