About Our Client

Job Description
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the site and overall business strategy, ensuring strong alignment between operational goals and business objectives.
- Lead site operations to deliver safe, high-quality, efficient production through continuous improvement, effective capacity planning, and optimisation of cost, waste, and downtime.
- Drive operational excellence by managing approved capital and improvement initiatives, ensuring robust performance data, timely reporting, and informed decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with, and ongoing development of, site management systems and standards (e.g. ISO, BRC), embedding best practice across all operational activities.
- Provide leadership to production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability, support major engineering projects, and enhance engagement in quality and waste-reduction initiatives.
- Develop and lead a high-performing operations team through clear communication, performance management, training, succession planning, and the establishment of effective working practices.
- Champion world-class manufacturing principles, supporting training delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and regular operational reviews to drive sustainable improvement.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, engineering, business or a related field, with experience in packaging considered an advantage.
- Proven senior-level operations or production management experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a minimum of five years in a comparable leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in leading and delivering change programmes, including hands-on application of Lean and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams, supported by excellent communication, facilitation, and training skills.
- Highly analytical and structured approach to problem-solving, combined with a pragmatic, hands-on mindset and strong customer focus.
- High levels of drive, energy, and personal commitment to transforming manufacturing capability, with excellent communications.
