- Coordinate with production teams for daily manufacturing plans.
- Timely creation of manufacturing orders and forecasts for production scheduling.
- Monitor manufacturing order production status and progress system.
- Plan and release requisition based on planning parameter to ensure material availability.
- Ensure inventory levels are within target ranges for key materials and key locations.
- Manage order fulfilment till delivery, through coordination across the supply chain.
- Understand short term capacity availability and constraints. Work with operations team to manage order fulfilment.
- Take action regarding capacity and work progress changes in a timely manner, highlighting likely impact of these changes.
- Monitor usage trends and customer forecasts for future purchases and capacity planning.
- Report and follow up on aged inventory and status.
- Review and provide reasons for deviation orders.
- Evaluate and recommend settings for specific products based on actual parameters.
- Participate actively in continuous improvement programs and take initiative to enhance material planning process.
