Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the production team, offering training, support, and motivation.
- Foster a safe, positive, and efficient work environment.
- Develop and implement production schedules to achieve company objectives.
- Ensure efficient use of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate with other departments to align with company goals.
- Adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand or capacity.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to meet specifications.
- Monitor production and identify areas for improvement.
- Address quality issues with corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with medical device industry standards and regulations.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
- Use data and metrics for process enhancement.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and supplies.
- Optimize machinery and equipment use.
- Coordinate maintenance and minimize downtime.
- Develop and manage the production budget.
- Monitor costs and implement savings measures.
- Ensure a safe workplace for all employees.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management.
- Recruit, retain, and develop skilled production staff.
- Promote learning and skill development within the team.
- Implement training programs to improve team capabilities.
- Support top management's operations and decisions.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Profile of Ideal Candidate:
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
- Experience in medical device manufacturing, supervision, and planning.
