Production Executive

Job Summary:

The Production Executive is responsible for overseeing day-to-day functions, ensuring smooth production operations, and supporting management in optimizing organizational efficiency. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.

• Supervise and coordinate production supervisors, operators, and production staff to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.

• Ensure all production activities comply with company procedures, work instructions, and quality standards in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.

• Monitor production performance, identify operational issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve efficiency.

• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to optimize production output.

• Maintain workplace safety, housekeeping, and proper equipment usage within the production area.

• Coordinate with departments such as Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, and Customer Service to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders.

• Work closely with overseas counterparts to ensure timely production support when required.

• Identify, analyze, and resolve production issues and bottlenecks.

• Monitor daily operations and recommend process improvements.

• Provide training, guidance, and support to production staff to enhance skills, productivity, and work quality.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and manage production supervisors and operators effectively.

• Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills to guide and motivate team members.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and work instructions.

• Address conflicts, resistance, or performance issues in a firm but constructive manner.

• Promote teamwork, cooperation, and accountability within the production team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or production operations.

• Experience supervising production teams or managing shop-floor operations.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems will be an advantage.
