Production Engineer

Operation

1. Quality & productivity management

2. Improvement works (quality, productivity & cost)

3. Production control and managing a team of Leaders and Operators to achieve quantity and quality targets

4. Daily production floor supervision

5. Liaise with primary production sections/vendors to ensure smooth supply of parts

6. Handle customer claims or requests

7. Inventory control for consumable items

8. Conduct training for Leaders and Operators

9. Conduct performance assessments for team members

10. Implement and manage improvement projects (productivity, cost, quality, safety)

11. Hands-on troubleshooting of operational problems

Management Support

1. Cost management (budget preparation and expense management)

Job Requirements

Experience & Technical Skills

1. Experience in supervising and managing an operational team

2. Several years of experience in a manufacturing environment

3. Technically inclined

4. Willing to perform hands-on tasks (not only desk work)

5. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Microsoft Office

6. Knowledge in FMEA and Six Sigma methodology
