Our client is a multinational company in the Contract Manufacturing industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Production Engineer to join their Engineer team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the North - easily accessible.
TheProduction Engineer's responsibles are:
- Provide technical support for molding and/or assembly automation processes, including troubleshooting equipment and process-related issues.
- Apply scientific molding and structured problem-solving methods to improve process stability, yield, and overall production performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality and production issues.
- Support mold/tooling trials and process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ) to ensure reliable production processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve OEE, reduce scrap and cycle time, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage Engineering Change Notifications (ECN), including impact assessment, validation, and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, NPI) and support customer communications on technical clarifications and product changes.
Requirement
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience in Molding industry
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering field
