Production Engineer
Salary: $3k - $3.5k
Job duties:
- To organise and prioritize the programming tasks to ensure timely and efficient completion.
- Support the sales team on accurate machining cycle time (RFQ) for new parts.
- Assisting the teams to analyse data (Inspection report) and able to rectify the problem.
- Liaise with customer on technical issues related to programming.
- Determine the best sequence of operation between Milling & Turning.
- Analysing manufacturing feasibility e.g. GD & T requirements before starting programming.
- Provide engineering support to the teams on all technical / programming issues.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess minimally a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in precision machining environment.
- Proficient in CAM programming (Mastercam, SolidCAM, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of UG and SolidWorks software will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of CNC Milling and Turning processes, GD&T, and technical drawings.
- Good analytical skills to interpret inspection reports and resolve production issues effectively.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
Working hours:
Mon - Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm
Sat, 8.30am to 12.30pm
