We are currently looking for a highly driven Production Engineer to take ownership of our in-house production cycle. As our Production Engineer, you will be the linchpin between R&D, our contract manufacturers, and our customers. Your core mission is to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality production cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Production Management: Manage the in-house production lifecycle for low-volume, high-mix electronic industrial goods, overseeing everything from final assembly to product testing, packaging, and labeling.
New Product Introduction (NPI): Bridge the gap between R&D and production, ensuring seamless NPI handovers and scalable manufacturing processes.
Supply Chain & Inventory Control: Maintain optimum stock levels of raw materials and finished goods. Your goal is to achieve a lean 6-to-8 week production cycle while ensuring next-business-day order fulfillment for our clients.
Systems Management: Maintain up-to-date Bill of Materials (BOM) lists and oversee the ERP/MRP inventory control system.
Vendor & Quality Coordination: Coordinate closely with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), manage purchasing/procurement needs, execute cost-down strategies, and enforce strict Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards.
Education: Minimum Polytechnic Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience: 3 to 5+ years of working experience in electronics product manufacturing, preferably with experience as an executive.
Technical Expertise: Strong background in SMT, PCB Assembly, and electro-mechanical assembly.
Core Skills: Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems, production planning, inventory/materials management, and NPI processes.
Mindset: A detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for continuous improvement, excellent customer service, and driving cost-efficiencies.
