Production Engineer (Chemical Production/Tuas/MNC Company)

Responsibilities:

Process Optimization

• Responsible for analysing existing production processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance productivity while minimizing costs.

Quality Assurance

• Ensuring the highest standards of quality in manufactured products is paramount. Develop and implement quality control measures, conduct thorough inspections, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any quality-related issues swiftly

Resource Management

• Manage resources effectively, including raw materials, equipment, and manpower, to maximize output while adhering to budgetary constraints and sustainability goals.

Continuous Improvement

• Embracing a culture of continuous improvement, lead initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, cost saving, reduce waste, and optimize overall efficiency.

Health and Safety Compliance

• Prioritizing the well-being of personnel and compliance with regulatory standards, you establish and enforce rigorous safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and implement preventive measures to maintain a safe working environment.

Technology Integration

• Leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as automation, robotics, and data analytics, drive the integration of advanced systems into production processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving

• When issues arise, employ analytical skills to diagnose root causes, devise effective solutions, and implement corrective actions swiftly, minimizing downtime and disruptions to production schedules.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Effective communication and collaboration with departments such as R&D, supply chain, and maintenance are essential to align production objectives with broader organizational goals and drive synergy across functions.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Chemical Engineering

• Able to work Independently with Strong Work Commitment

• Possess Good Interpersonal & Communication Skills

• Good Analytical & Problem Solving Skill
