Core Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution:
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to meet delivery schedules and output targets.
- Optimize resource allocation (manpower, machines, and materials) to maximize productivity.
Process Optimization & Troubleshooting:
- Troubleshoot daily production issues and technical problems on the shop floor to minimize downtime.
- Analyse manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement plans.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and manufacturing specifications.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Maintenance, Quality Control (QC), and Procurement teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide technical support and training to production operators and technicians.
Key Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: Relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment (hands-on troubleshooting experience is highly valued).
- Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and proficiency in production planning workflows.
