Job Description:
1. Process Operations & Optimization:
- Monitor and manage daily production processes to meet quality and output targets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process deviations promptly to minimize downtime.
- Optimize workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
2. Hands-On Daily Activities:
- Actively participate in day-to-day production operations, including equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.
- Take over production responsibilities in the absence of operators to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Perform routine inspections, calibration, and adjustments on machinery and equipment.
3. Production Management During Operator Absence:
- Operate production machinery and ensure processes run smoothly when operators are unavailable.
- Monitor production parameters and adjust settings to maintain product quality and efficiency.
- Document production activities, issues encountered, and corrective actions taken.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare daily and weekly production performance reports.
- Ensure accurate recording of production metrics.
5. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.
6. Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations during production activities.
- Ensure safe operation of equipment and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams.
- Support training programs for operators to enhance their operational skills.
8. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Propose innovative ideas for cost savings and productivity improvements.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience / manufacturing environment is preferred
- Mature, possess effective communication skills and able to interact with people at all levels
- Computer-literate with knowledge of MS Office applications (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Auto Cad)
