Role Details
- Remuneration Package: Basic $3,500 to $4,000 (Experienced Candidates) + Fixed Allowances $1,000
- Location: Jurong Island (company transport from designated points)
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
- Shift: 12-Hour Rotating AM & PM Shifts

Key Responsibilities:
As Shift Engineer, you'll lead a team of Production Technicians and be the go-to person for keeping plant operations running safely, efficiently, and at peak quality - every shift.
- Lead & Oversee - Supervise Production Technicians to ensure safe and efficient running of all production processes
- Troubleshoot & Resolve - Identify and address plant, equipment, and quality issues swiftly with effective countermeasures
- Optimize Operations - Maintain optimal operating conditions for stable plant performance and consistent product quality
- Support Process Engineering - Assist in process improvement projects to drive cost efficiency and operational excellence
- Maintain Equipment Integrity - Monitor reliability and integrity of plant equipment on an ongoing basis
- Mentor & Develop - Coach and upskill team members to strengthen overall shift performance
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong grasp of process control, troubleshooting, plant equipment and instrumentation
- Natural leader with initiative, drive, and the ability to stay composed under pressure
- Analytical thinker with solid technical report writing skills
- Excellent communicator who can engage across all levels of the plant
