To ensure that the production facility, equipment, and work areas are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to the highest hygiene and safety standards, in compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
Role and Responsibilities
- Carry out daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning and sanitization of production equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and work areas in accordance with the cleaning schedule.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Cleaning in Place (CIP) procedures to maintain hygiene standards.
- Ensure proper handling, dilution, and storage of cleaning chemicals in compliance with safety guidelines.
- Conduct pre-operation hygiene checks to ensure production areas are clean before operations begin.
- Safely dismantle, clean, and reassemble production equipment where required.
- Report any equipment defects, maintenance issues, or safety hazards immediately.
- Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), and workplace safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate cleaning records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal in compliance with environmental and food safety standards.
- Assist with general housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
