Job Description

We are seeking a Product & Technology Lead to drive the development and optimisation of our platform systems and internal tools.

This role is suited for an individual with strong experience operating at the intersection of product, technical systems, and operations, with the ability to translate business needs into practical product solutions and work closely with engineering teams to deliver them.

The role requires hands-on involvement in API integrations, internal tooling, dashboards, and workflow optimisation, while owning the product lifecycle end-to-end.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and enhancement of platform features and internal systems, focusing on usability, performance, and operational efficiency
  • Define product requirements and translate operational and business needs into clear specifications for engineering teams
  • Work closely with engineering on API integrations, system enhancements, and feature rollouts, ensuring alignment with product objectives
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, including requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), release coordination, and post-launch optimisation
  • Drive improvements in internal tools, dashboards, and reporting systems to support operational decision-making
  • Support system design discussions by providing product and workflow perspectives, particularly for performance-sensitive environments
  • Troubleshoot system and integration issues, working with engineering teams to resolve API, data, and workflow-related challenges
  • Collaborate with operations and compliance teams to ensure systems align with internal processes and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain documentation including product specifications, workflows, and user guides
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, data analytics, and AI-assisted tools
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes, tooling, and cross-functional collaboration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 8-12 years of experience in product management, technical operations, or platform-based environments
  • Good to have: strong European language proficiency (as this role works with EU target market)
  • Strong experience working with API-based systems and integrations (REST / WebSocket or similar)
  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, or similar tools for data analysis, scripting, or automation
  • Experience building or working with dashboards, reporting tools, or internal operational systems
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end product lifecycle, including UAT and release processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience handling complex system or workflow issues
  • Ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, and business stakeholders
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-performance environments with evolving requirements
  • Good understanding of data integrity, system reliability, and operational risk considerations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience improving operational workflows through automation or internal tooling
  • Exposure to data-driven product optimisation or AI-assisted tools
  • Experience working in environments involving real-time systems or high-volume platforms

Additional Information:

  • This role is a hybrid product + technical coordination role, not a pure software engineering position
  • Candidates should be comfortable working across both technical and operational domains
  • Strong ownership, adaptability, and ability to operate in evolving environments are essential
