Product Specialist

The Role

We are seeking a customer savvy and service-oriented Product Specialist to join our Trade Marketing team. You will be a strategic influence in driving adoption and sales across local retailers, contributing to the commercial and brand success of Hegen. You will serve as the go-to expert for the company's products, bridging the gap between the product development team, sales team, and customers. This role involves deep product knowledge, market awareness, and the ability to translate technical details into clear value propositions for customers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop an in-depth understanding of product features, technical specifications, and competitive advantages.
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for clients and internal teams.
• Provide feedback to the product development team on customer needs and market trends.
• Be the subject matter expert for customers in stores and establish meaningful touchpoints with clients
• Proactively promote Hegen's brand and demonstrate the use of Hegen products to end consumers
• Develop sales pitch, monitor industry trends and perform basic reporting
• Provide insight and recommendations to improve product positioning and market share
• Support Trade events and in-store activation when required

Requirements:

• Experience dealing with retailers and/or consumers in a retail or consumer goods company
• Proficiency in at least 2 languages including English is mandatory.
• Pleasant personality and enjoy serving customers
• Retail sales and/or customer service experience will be advantageous
• Able to commit to a 5-day work week including some weekends where required. Working hours to be 6 hours per day on weekdays (inclusive of 1-hour mealtimes), 11am to 9pm on weekends.
