Key Responsibilities / Job Scope:
1. Product Management
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned product lines, including specifications, applications, pricing, and competitive positioning.
- Coordinate with suppliers to source, evaluate, and introduce new products.
- Monitor product lifecycle and recommend product improvements or phase-outs.
2. Sales Support
- Work with sales teams to provide product training, technical support, and product presentations to clients.
- Assist in developing sales strategies, pricing structures, and promotional campaigns.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Market Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to recommend adjustments to product offerings.
- Identify new business opportunities within current and new markets.
4. Supplier and Vendor Coordination
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery timelines with vendors in collaboration with procurement and management teams.
- Ensure timely communication of product updates, technical documentation, and pricing changes.
5. Inventory & Forecasting
- Collaborate with the inventory and procurement teams to forecast demand and manage stock levels.
- Ensure product availability based on sales forecasts and market trends.
6. Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and maintain product documentation including data sheets, user manuals, and certifications.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations and quality standards.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in a product specialist, sales engineer, or trading-related role preferred.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of product knowledge and market trends.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office ERP or CRM system knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
