Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) in terms of inspection.
Publish daily performance report of new product built to customer.
FAI report during and NPI built.
Interface with customers on product quality issues.
Interface with manufacturing personnel to drive for continual improvement in product quality.
Has the authority to stop production if deemed necessary when the product or process does not conform to requirement.
Monitor customer returns and work on improvement actions.
Perform manufacturing process / ESD audits on the manufacturing line.
Engage actively in 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audits.
Formulate, implement and monitor quality assurance standards and procedures to achieve.
Any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Degree / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years experience in the manufacturing environment or in related field is preferred.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and ESD control or in the related field preferred.
Knowledge of manufacturing in PCBA environment or in related field, and application of associated IPC standards preferred.
Knowledge in Quality tools (e.g. Cause & Effect Analysis, 5-Why, 8D report, SPC, Process Capability Study, etc) and Risk Management tools (e.g. FMEA, ROA, etc) will be an added advantage.
Knowledge in performing internal audits for ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, MDSAP, JPAL MHLW, BCMS and RBA preferred.
Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e. Excel, Words and PowerPoint) and Google Looker Studio.
