Product Performance Engineer Intern

About our group:

Seagate's Product Performance Engineering organization for HDD (Hard Disk Drive) performance, yield monitoring and analysis.

About the role - you will:

Engineer in big data analytics development.
. To perform research work to develop AI/ML tools for Hard Disc Drive (HDD) manufacturing data analysis job
. Early detection for Incoming/Assembly issues
. Outgoing quality prediction to reduce DPPM / Excursions
. To work closely with IT-FIS team to deploy the new designs / Analytics into the factory IT system for real-time production.

About you:

. A Bachelor/Master graduate in Mathematics, Statistics or Big Data Analytics discipline
. Fast learner, independent and able to work in a cross functional team
. Possess good knowledge & experience on big data & machine-learning statistics / algorithms
. A team player with good communication skills (English, Mandarin)

Your experience includes:

. Microsoft office
. Python/Java development
. AI/ML project development is preferred
