Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and task prioritization for Agile delivery.
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely and successful completion of initiatives.
- Act as the main liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, managing expectations and dependencies.
- Review and optimize business processes, identifying improvements and new feature opportunities.
- Support UAT, production releases, and post-implementation reviews to ensure solutions meet requirements.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Candidate Should Have
- At least 5 years experience as a Product Owner in financial services or insurance.
- Proven track record in delivering and enhancing business system applications.
- Strong experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across functions.
- Analytical, conceptual thinker with a solution-oriented mindset and attention to detail.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adaptable to change.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Digital, Technology, or related field; Agile certifications are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Figma).
