Job Summary:
We are looking for a Business Analyst with 2-3 years of experience to join our team and support technology and process changes within the Operations domain of our wealth management business.
The role involves gathering and analysing requirements, designing solutions, and coordinating implementation activities across multiple stakeholders. You will work closely with business users, project managers, and IT teams to ensure successful delivery of Operations-related system enhancements and projects, leveraging Agile practices for efficient and iterative delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering: Work with Operations teams to capture, analyse, and document business requirements (BRDs) or user stories, for system changes and enhancements.
2. Solution Analysis: Collaborate with IT and vendors to evaluate solutions that meet business needs and align with technology standards.
3. Agile Delivery:
o Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
o Break down requirements into user stories and maintain a prioritized product backlog.
o Work closely with the Scrum team to clarify requirements and ensure timely delivery of features.
4. Documentation: Prepare functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
5. Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with business users, project managers, and technical teams to manage expectations and timelines.
6. Process Understanding: Maintain a strong understanding of Operations workflows and ensure proposed solutions improve efficiency and compliance.
7. Project Support: Assist in planning and execution of projects, including tracking progress and reporting status to stakeholders.
8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to system roadmap discussions.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in banking or financial services.
Familiarity with Operations processes in wealth management or private banking is an advantage.
Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology experience working in Agile teams is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office tools knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
