About StraitsX
The StraitsX team is building the payments infrastructure for Digital Assets in Southeast Asia. We aim to connect millions of individuals and businesses in the region to the Digital Assets market through our suite of products, including Xfers Wallet and Xfers Direct. We partner with some of the leading exchanges in the space, including Binance, Gemini and many others. In 2020, we released our first stablecoin, XSGD, the largest stablecoin in Asia by supply.

What You'll Be Doing
- You will drive the delivery of operational milestones set by the StraitsX team ensuring best-in-class project management and applying critical thinking to business decisions.
- You will actively engage with internal teams to provide product operations support while working cross-functionally to resolve issues using technology and automation.
- You will participate in daily reconciliation, risk mitigation, and investigation across Xfers fiat and blockchain-based transaction flow.
- You will be driving a good product experience through ensuring operational excellence in the daily settlement, including both fiat and blockchain-based transactions.
- Bridging the gap between product limitations and user expectations to achieve user satisfaction.
What We Look For In You
- You have at least 2 years of experience in Operations in a regulated financial environment, with a broad understanding of transaction flows, risk control, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
- You have strong project management skills and experience.
- You are outspoken and can communicate/escalate concerns and facilitate the right stakeholders in a discussion before they become issues.
- You are comfortable working in a tech environment with the ability to coordinate across several functions (Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Marketing, Design, Business Development).
- You have good written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to haves
- Experience in middle-office at a large financial institution.
- Crypto exposure and broad understanding of the Digital Assets industry.
- The ability to converse in Mandarin or Bahasa would be a plus.
- Relevant reconciliation experience.
