Being the lead of the Marketing Team in Singapore, the successful candidate will assist to manage both product portfolio and brands for Whirlpool in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate marketing strategies and implement marketing plans to drive business and market share position and penetration
- Responsible for P&L for all categories
- Carry out regular market research and benchmarking to translate product needs and brand positioning into activity requirements and opportunities for profitable growth across all drivers.
- Provide insights to centralized category marketing team to create suitable products and to maximize our competitive advantage
- Work closely with management, sales, branding, technical teams, regional offices, factories and OEM suppliers to follow through product development process and ensure the smooth execution of product go to market plans
- Prepare new product launch and execute go to market plans including price, distribution and promotions
- Provide regular product and price benchmarking activities, alter price and promotion plans to achieve business objectives
- Monitor inventory and be a key member of the demand planning process. Run promotions for slow moving inventory if necessary
- Responsible for annual brand marketing plan and development, including website, social media, e-channels and associated marketing tools that improve awareness, product exposure, and customer engagement in the digital
- Create online and offline marketing materials according to the brand style guidelines. Communicate with advertising or media agencies to monitor the delivery of production
- Measure and analyze performance of all marketing campaigns (ROI and KPIs) as well as use hindsight to consider future campaigns
- Work closely with category marketing team to translate product features into consumer language
- Work closely with different sales teams to cater sales needs and leverage marketing tools to maximize sales impact
- Active Involvement on key Atrium Events & Store POSM management
Education
Degree holder in marketing or business disciplines.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years marketing experience, preferably in consumer appliances or retail industry
- Proven track record and solid functional expertise in integrated marketing communications including brand building, event management, collateral development, copywriting, printed production, video production, website and social media promotion.
- Knowledge in design softwares like Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and, basic knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints is a plus
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
