Description of Key Job Duties:
Business & Regional Sales Support
- Support regional sales activities in alignment with business objectives and regional sales targets.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Trina product portfolio and overall strategy.
- Collaborate closely with APAC sales managers to support sales initiatives for utility-scale and distribution market segments.
Regional Market Insights, Analysis & Reporting
- Maintain active communication with customers to collect feedback and understand their needs, requests, and market expectations.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Filter and organize relevant information to recommend countermeasures, improvements, and strategic actions.
New Product Launch & Promotion
Support regional launches of new products, including, launch event planning and execution, localization and adaptation of marketing toolkits, product sample coordination, webinars and marketing events, event presentations and promotional materials, customer visits and training sessions, assist in implementing effective promotion activities across the region.
Competitor Monitoring & Market Intelligence
- Conduct quarterly analysis of competitor activities, including, market strategies, product strategies, portfolio positioning, sales scale, pricing strategies, product performance, strengths, and weaknesses
- Provide insights to support competitive positioning and strategic planning.
Product Management & Certification Support
- Support local product certification processes by tracking certification progress and status and preparing necessary documentation and materials
- Coordinating with certification agencies and headquarters when required
Technical Value Proposition & Customer Support
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding PV modules and related Balance of System (BOS) components, including inverters, mounting systems, and trackers.
- Study and evaluate installation and operational specifications for fixed and tracking systems in utility-scale projects.
- Conduct PV system value assessments, project simulations, and prepare sales support tools.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor's degree from a reputable institution in: Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in the Photovoltaic (PV) industry with a strong technical background.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Experience with PVsyst is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken in English and Chinese in order to liaise with Chinese counterparties in corporate headquarter.
- Ability and willingness to travel within the assigned region on short notice.
