Job Description

Product Manager – Incident Response Management Platform

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager with a strong background in Product Design, User Experience (UX), and stakeholder management to drive the development and adoption of an Incident Response Management (IRM) platform. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between users, engineering teams, and business stakeholders while ensuring effective product delivery, operational excellence, and user adoption.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Design & User Research

  • Analyze incident response workflows and user journeys to design intuitive dashboards, alert management processes, and communication templates.
  • Gather and translate user feedback into wireframes, product requirements, and functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and improve operational efficiency.
  • Drive product improvements focused on reducing incident resolution times and improving platform usability.

2. Framework Mastery & Training

  • Develop deep expertise in incident management frameworks and best practices.
  • Create and deliver training programs for internal teams and platform users.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for knowledge transfer, ensuring successful onboarding and adoption of the platform.
  • Simplify complex technical concepts into practical and easy-to-understand training materials.

3. Procurement, Finance & Vendor Management

  • Partner with finance and procurement teams to manage software licensing and platform-related purchases.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to track deliverables, feature requests, support issues, and platform enhancements.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely resolution of product and security-related concerns.
  • Support budget planning and procurement activities related to platform operations.

4. Stakeholder & Compliance Management

  • Serve as the key liaison between users, leadership teams, and engineering stakeholders.
  • Prioritize product backlogs and roadmap initiatives based on business needs and user feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational security, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Support risk management and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Product Management, Product Design, UX/UI, Business Analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience translating business requirements into product features and user stories.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Incident Management, IT Operations, or Observability platforms.
  • Experience delivering training sessions, workshops, or instructional programs.
  • Exposure to procurement, vendor management, or financial governance processes.
  • Knowledge of security, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
