Product Manager (Consultant/Senior Consultant) – Digital Services & Transformation
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager (Consultant/Senior Consultant) specialising in digital services and transformation. In this role, you will lead the planning, delivery, and optimisation of digital technology initiatives in partnership with internal and external stakeholders for various government projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Project & Product Planning:
- Define and execute product vision, mission, and roadmap in collaboration with Product Owner and stakeholders.
- Identify digital transformation opportunities and develop go-to-market strategies.
- Manage product/project scope, budget, schedule, and reporting for development and maintenance projects.
- Secure funding and monitor expenditure.
- Product Strategy & Performance:
- Conduct user research and apply Design Thinking to identify gaps and develop solutions.
- Create data-driven analytics and insights for decision-making.
- Monitor and report on product performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Problem Prioritisation & Impact Assessment:
- Evaluate and prioritise enhancement requests and issues based on user impact, business value, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
- Analyse enhancement requests and coordinate maintenance with support teams.
- Agile Delivery:
- Apply modern development practices such as Agile, Cloud, Design Thinking, and Product-Centric Development.
- Oversee vendors and coordinate with application and infrastructure teams.
- Lead stakeholder management across business, procurement, and finance functions.
- Plan and coordinate testing activities (User Acceptance, Security, Performance), training, and implementation.
- Technical Analysis & Risk Management:
- Lead requirement gathering and review project deliverables (e.g., functional specifications, test plans, user guides, documentation).
- Conduct gap analysis between current and required solutions.
- Ensure compliance with IT management, quality, and security policies.
- Support IT systems procurement processes and ensure Service Level Agreements compliance.
Mandatory Skills & Experience/Requirements
- Tertiary education in relevant fields (preferred).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in product management or related roles.
- Hands-on experience in the full product development lifecycle.
- Experience in:
- Product management and IT business analysis.
- Application solutioning, design, and testing.
- Data analysis and product analytics.
- Modern development practices (Agile, Cloud, Design Thinking).
- Strong analytical, conceptualisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to influence.
- Experience with Salesforce platform (Service Cloud, Agentforce), including implementation, configuration, integration, process automation, and reporting.
Preferred/Advantageous Skills & Experience
- Experience in government projects and vendor management.
- Knowledge of current product trends, best practices, and technologies.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CITPM, Certified Scrum Master, or equivalent).
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
Technical Stack / Domain Knowledge
- Product/Project Management: Agile, Cloud, Design Thinking, Product-Centric Development, project planning, and tracking.
- Business Analysis: Requirements gathering, solutioning, gap analysis, process mapping.
- Reporting & Documentation: Data analytics, centralised documentation, user guides, knowledge management.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordination with cross-functional teams, vendors, and leadership.
- Risk & Compliance: IT management, quality, and security policy compliance; SLA management.
- Platforms: AWS, Salesforce Service Cloud/Agentforce.
