Take the lead and be accountable in meeting Product Management revenue, profitability growth and operational performance objectives.
Ensure that the market is serviced in an efficient way by building long term relationships with suppliers, customers and maintaining an offer through product and service development that provides superior value to aircraft operators and MROs.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborating closely with the Commercial and Product Management teams to drive revenue and margin targets.
Identifying, developing and driving market offerings to expand business opportunities.
Cultivating strong relationships with OEM Partners, ensuring a successful execution of our Distribution contract obligations.
Collecting, analysing and presenting data and action plans in line with Product Management best practices.
Ensure development and maintenance of supplier relations
Run campaigns/events focused on suppliers and customers
Drive and develop Sales
Create business opportunities via CRM with the commercial organization and product management functions
Follow-up on Budget/Gaps on customer level
Proposal follow-up
Joint Customer visits with commercial (incl. at fairs/airshows)
Provide product training to the Sales team with support from the product line PMs
Participate in sales meetings
Support the OEM PMs and Market PM in other regions with market intelligence and relevant reporting
Participate in Suppliers Meetings, Supplier QBRs as appropriate
Participate in product line meetings (monthly or as planned)
Support Sales in maintaining and winning new business
Support the governance with regards to Product Management related to operational and financial performance from target proposal (AOP, Forecast) to follow-up (MBR - Monthly Business Review)
Support the creation and implementation of global business plans
Support the cross-product line activities across regions and across product management functions
Job Requirements
Commercial education or an engineering degree combined with a commercial understanding, or 3-5 years of product, program or supply chain management experience
Strong business acumen
Knowledge about the product management discipline
Proven ability to meet and exceed profitability targets consistently
High degree of aviation business understanding
Good analytical skills ability to see the bigger picture and derive mid to long term recommendations on way forward
