We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our UI/UX Planning Team. This role focuses on product management for our data analytics platform serving external enterprise clients.
You'll lead our B2B data business end-to-endfrom strategy development through implementation and operationfor data products provided to external brand partner companies.
We're seeking someone with a strong passion for UI/UX and experience in enterprise data product business, who can balance business value with exceptional user experience.
As a Product Manager, you'll own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of the Rakuten Analytics platform UI. You'll work closely with engineers, other product managers, and stakeholders to build an intuitive and effective platform.
This role requires three key mindsets: Strategic Product Researcher, Business Analyst, and Customer Success/Account Management.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Planning
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps and execution plans aligned with business objectives
- Analyze competitive products to determine product direction
- Drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention
Requirements Definition & Delivery
- Translate business needs into clear specifications for engineering teams
- Define scope, milestones, and release plans (MVP and major versions)
- Create wireframes and mockups, actively participating in design reviews
B2B Data Product Strategy
- Develop value propositions and roadmaps for external enterprise data analytics products
- Define use cases by client segment and prioritize features
- Design and optimize revenue models for data business
- Plan and execute new client onboarding processes and churn prevention strategies
- Establish continuous product improvement cycles based on client feedback
Enterprise Client Success
- Understand and define response strategies for client-specific customization needs
- Support client business growth through data utilization
- Develop account growth strategies in collaboration with sales and customer success teams
- Build training, documentation, and support infrastructure for clients
Platform Migration & Integration
- Develop migration strategies from existing services to new platforms
- Create and execute phased migration plans that minimize client impact
- Manage risks during parallel operation periods of legacy and new systems
- Design and implement data quality assurance and client acceptance testing
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, engineers, QA, sales, and project managers
- Translate business requirements into technical implementation specifications
- Analyze user feedback, KPIs, and production issues to inform roadmap decisions
- Present KPIs and insights to stakeholders clearly, driving alignment and prioritization
- Facilitate coordination and consensus-building across multiple organizations
Requirements:
- Product Management: 5+ years with enterprise products (2,000+ MAUs)
- B2B Data Products: 3+ years with external-facing data products, analytics platforms, or SaaS
- Data Analysis: 2+ years hands-on SQL experience and deriving insights
- Data Monetization: Track record in business model design, pricing strategy, and revenue achievement
- Analytics Tools: Proficiency with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker, Amplitude, etc.
- B2B Strategy: Experience in client segmentation, value propositions, and Go-to-Market strategies
- System Migration: Experience leading migration projects from legacy to new platforms
- Cross-Organizational Leadership: Track record driving projects across business, technology, sales teams
- Compliance: Knowledge of GDPR, APPI, and other data regulations
