Job description:
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to own and grow NETS QR, including SGQR, across key merchant and consumer segments. This role is responsible for the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, from daily system operations and partner management to go‑to‑market execution, with a strong focus on hawkers, SMEs, and inbound tourists using international wallets such as Alipay and WeChat Pay.
The ideal candidate is commercially minded, data‑driven, and execution focused, with strong stakeholder management, presentation, and design capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end P&L for the QR payments portfolio, including revenue growth, pricing, and cost management
- Define and execute go‑to‑market strategies to drive merchant acquisition, activation, and usage
- Lead segment strategies for hawkers, local merchants, and inbound tourists, including overseas wallets (Alipay, WeChat Pay)
- Manage day‑to‑day performance and reliability of the QR payments ecosystem
- Track KPIs, conduct data analysis, and turn insights into commercial and product actions
- Deliver executive‑ready management reporting and decks
Education & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in payments, fintech, or digital platform environments.
- Hands-on experience managing QR payment solutions, digital wallets, or merchant acquiring products.
- Strong understanding of SGQR or similar national QR payment schemes is highly desirable.
- Experience engaging with senior management, external partners, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Proven ability to balance strategic product planning with hands-on execution and delivery.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools.
- Experience creating screen flows, wireframes, and prototypes using Figma.
- Good understanding of APIs, payment flows, and systems integration concepts.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling decks and written materials.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across business and technical teams.
