Job Description

Manus - now part of Meta - is a general-purpose AI agent that bridges mind and action, handling complex tasks from start to finish. It enables people to delegate entire workflows across deep research, data analysis, and software development, turning advanced AI into reliable, practical results.

As a product manager on the Manus team, you'll have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientists and researchers to build products. We are looking for product managers who value moving quickly and can lead AI-native product development at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Define core product requirements and milestones based on real user needs and use cases.
  • Translate LLM / Agent capabilities into reliable, scalable, and user-ready product features.
  • Own the end-to-end product development process, from PRDs and reviews to launch and iteration.
  • Continuously improve the usability, clarity, and reliability of the AI Agent through data and user feedback.
  • Design and run product-led experiments, including A/B tests on onboarding, features, messaging, and pricing.
  • Use data and insights to continuously improve user experience and growth outcomes.
  • Package complex AI capabilities into intuitive, high-perceived-value user experiences.
  • Be the primary driver for identifying significant near and long-term opportunities in a large Product area, and driving product strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals.
  • Generate buy-in and drive consensus across organizations. Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous opportunities. Consistently demonstrate initiative and execute with limited oversight.
  • Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects for web-based products, applications, and platforms.
  • Integrate data, usability studies, research, and market analysis into product strategies and requirements to enhance user satisfaction and improve engineer productivity.
  • Drive product development with teams of world-class engineers and designers, while maintaining team health.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), develop roadmaps, and guide the team through key milestones.
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. Identify and track key performance metrics. Drive decision-making through user insights, quantitative analysis and A/B testing.
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.
  • Lead and participate in technical syncs with Mandarin-speaking teams, translate and review technical specifications to ensure alignment across partners.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or relevant degree equivalent): STEM subject ideal but not essential (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences)
  • 8+ years of Product Management experience, ideally with 0-1 products or complex systems and working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research teams
  • Strong understanding of AI / LLM / Agent workflows, able to collaborate deeply with engineers
  • Proven ability to turn user behavior insights into concrete product improvements
  • Strong interest in lowering the learning curve and adoption barrier of AI products
  • Experience managing a product through the full product lifecycle
  • Proven experience to drive a step change in the performance of a product and the effectiveness of the team that delivers that product
  • Extensive understanding in analyzing large scale, complex data sets and making effective decisions based on data
  • Experience integrating a diverse set of requirements from a broad set of users as well as context into a single coherent product strategy
  • Demonstrated experience in communication, bringing extreme clarity to complex and technical messages across all audience levels
  • Experience navigating through the full product life-cycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization, and pre/post-launch execution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is preferred to conduct daily meetings with Mandarin-speaking colleagues/vendors, and to review technical specifications in Mandarin
  • Experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplaces
  • Experience in a consumer focused technology company
  • Technical or engineering background
  • Excellent product sense with a high bar for UX and design quality
  • Structured thinker with a passion for turning AI into real, usable products
  • Strong data intuition with hands-on experience running experiments and analyzing funnels
  • Experience leading cross-functional product team(s) across a full product line: Crafting product mission and strategy, defining product requirements, coordinating resources from other groups (marketing, legal, etc.), and driving the team to achieve key milestones and goals
  • Proven experience to drive a step change in the performance of a product and the effectiveness of the team that delivers that product
  • Experience leading and motivating teams and influencing across an organization
  • Demonstrated proficiency using AI-enabled tools to build product artifacts
  • Experience developing and scaling AI-native strategies including evals and data strategies across teams
  • Experience identifying and hiring the right talent to build an AI-capable cross-functional team
  • Experience presenting to executive audiences
